What the f*CK is a node? Today I talked about nodes and clients, why it is so important to run our own node and why we should choose a minority client on Ethereum. It was great talking about this in a little city in Buenos Aires πŸ–€ Afterwards, my friend Mateo explained how to set up a node with @dappnode

I agree everyone should have the capacity to run a node but if you’re just running a node without the intention of validation you are increasing the bandwidth costs for the whole network

I understand but we are promoting this in LATAM because there only a few nodes here, most of them are centralized in USA or Europe. Therefore we care more about decentralizing the participation in the network. I believe this is the start for someone that would like to have a validator.

If they don't know how to set up a full node, how would they become a validator? Even more when in most cases you need 32eth or at least 8 if you hop on a DVT or a staking protocol.
