Key Takeaways from My Talk at #StellarWACon25 I spoke on how we, as community leaders, educators, and advocates, can help bridge blockchain ecosystems to build a more unified Web3 space in Africa. Here are a few core points I gave: - ⁠African founders should integrate multi-chain strategies. This is a win-win cos it helps unlock wider distribution, larger user bases, and more revenue streams. While also aligning with the bigger vision of a truly unified Web3 presence in Africa. I mean, Why should a product be limited to serving users on a single chain, when it has the potential to address broader needs by prioritizing problem-solving over chain allegiance? - Cross-chain collaboration is key. We need more events like #StellarWACon25 that bring ecosystems together, exposing builders to the diverse tools, opportunities, and distribution available across chains. - ⁠Education must be inclusive. Lots of projects also avoid coming into Africa, even when our crypto adoption is massive. Why are we always overlooked?

I think that would have to do more with the stereotypes against us which we frankly caused ourselves (the bad eggs) if we’re being honest, plus our government are also not helping matters with their strict regulations and all.

True But there are lots of things that could actually go on in Africa that would help projects. I think they’re also scared of seeing African countries take over. Crypto in 3rd world countries is extremely better than crypto in places like America.

Hmm, I can’t agree more to that last paragraph. Thinking about it from this angle now, I’m seeing more reasons why.
