I get so many “wow,” “really?” and other surprised reactions when people find out I cook. It’s always so weird to me… like, just because I show up and look good online doesn’t mean I don’t do market or kitchen runs! 😂

Funny thing is, I actually prefer my home-cooked meals to eating out.😋

I made this post over an hour ago, and still, not a single view or engagement. I’ve noticed this trend over the past few weeks with most of my casts. This one is just an example.

I brought it up with @ted in the DMs a few days ago, and she mentioned that the more followers you have, the less likely you are to get engagement or move up the reward leaderboard.

Honestly, that sounds like a really flawed algorithm. Why should a platform that claims to embrace everyone use an algo that completely sidelines loyal users and favors only new ones? Do we not matter anymore???

I’m seeing brand new users with less than 200 followers getting over 1k views and 500+ likes on a cast, while older users like myself with 1k+ followers that have been putting in the work and creating impacts are barely hitting 50 views and 2 likes. That’s a serious and unfair bias. It’s extremely discouraging tbvh!!!

I spend hours recording and editing a video, only for it to get buried by a system that doesn’t work in our favor. Not cool. Old users matter too!
