I'm using agents to write code all the time now. 

Last year it was just autocomplete and now it's all agents. I was skeptical at first but now see the potential. 

I'm still learning so I expect my approach to change every few months but here's what Im doing now. 👇

Cursor (IDE)

This is my main tool I use to build. Im still getting used to agents writing code for me. I use Claude Sonnet and I get the hype. I've been asking it to do more and it surprising me almost daily.

Cursor might be the best tech product I've ever used.

I use this to plan out features or full projects. I'll write out the general idea and it does a good job giving me enough so that I can start asking more questions. The rubber ducky on steroids. 

I also love how it's so optimistic, gives me a confidence boost every time lol

Codex

This made me upgrade my ChatGPT subscription to pro but it was worth it. 

This was forced me to learn how to describe features or tasks in English. The feedback loop is around 5 - 10 minutes so it's harder to manage.

I bet I'll end up writing all my code this way in a year or two. Feels early right now.

it's powerful. you can sync code with gitub now which is crazy.

v0 (Design)

Im a big fan of shadcn components and really like their approach to design. It probably won't wow you but it's good enough for the MVPs Im cooking up. It's great actually. 

The screenshot clone feature is magical. I try to find UI patterns I really like online and get v0 to make them.

cursor is very powerful and much more impressive than the other agents ive used
