I bought my first plant ever and now I am scared and confused

Do I need to take it out of the plastic??

If so… how do I do it without killing it 🫠🫠🫠

Snake plants are hardy. Keep it somewhere with bright indirect light, water it infrequently (I water mine once every two weeks), make sure you’ve got well draining soil. Remove the plastic to be sure or it’ll get root rot. Your planter may be fine if it has holes. Otherwise place in plastic pot inside that one.
