I think Turkey is quite likely to acquire nuclear weapons rather quickly now given what they’ve seen Israel has done with Iran. Delay means death in a world of declining American power and, resultingly, intensifying Israeli expansionism. Tensions with Israel over their turf war in a weakened and divided Syria will be the proximate cause for Ankara.

I don't understand this rhetoric because nukes aren't the only way to cripple a nation, it's actually outdated and defensible to a point
