Visiting London for the first time. I acc really like it! Some insights: - great mix of history and modern culture. Interesting mix of very old architecture and new modern - serving sizes are ACTUALLY for one person, which is comparitvely much smaller compared to nyc. A large here would be a small in america. - everything is just as expensive as New York, could actually pass off as more expensive - Borough Market has a really nice standout, by far my favorite - pub culture > club - coffee is sooo good here, honeycomb latte FTW - impressed with how clean the underground and streets are comparatively to nyc - city so big that you can get both suburban when you want and city when you want - suprisingly heard more foreign accents than UK accents - beautiful country side - didnt catch much tech culture here

lol as a hungry Brit I like US portion sizes - you should check out Broadway market (saturday) and Columbia Road (Sunday) if you like borough. There are also a couple standout clubs as well as pub culture if you like that (obvs not Berlin level) London is such a multicultural hub I think that’s why Londoners have a slightly different identity to the rest of England! Where’d you go outside of London? Alsoo tech culture is here u just have to look on Luma! May not be same concentration as nyc. There was a @descilondon meet up last night and this this evening! https://lu.ma/a2icxni3?pk=g-zVekpPkckbMmoqt Also cost of living here is crazyyy cos income is so much lower than states
