If you used to tip $DEGEN regularly but have slowed down or stopped, what changed? What would make tipping exciting or worthwhile for you again?

I guess it will be a popular answer - many users are now scared of getting banned as there are no clear guidelines on what is considered farming, and what is not.

I'm not sure it's possible to stop farming at all. There will also be those who will find the way to exploit the rules.. But you can at least try limiting it...Tip for Tip rule, for example, was quite clear. Maybe adding on top of it some limitations, like a maximum one-time tip, can help as well...

Do you think we should implement specific rules to stop farming? If so, what kind of rules would make sense to you?

My take on the bans. For transparency I was banned last season. 

Back in April last year an artist friend brought me over to the Purple app and told me about Ham & Degen. I brought a bunch of Ham & Degen at the peak so I could participate in the tipping and be apart what I saw as the two main farcaster communities I’d been on X since 2021 in the NFT space and initially FC reminded of those early times. 

I always tipped significantly more than I received. For 8 months I mainly supported artist friends with my tips and a some of the time they reciprocated, but a lot of the time the artists I supported didn’t have much of an allowance. A few times I even received DMs to let me know they didn’t have allowance and couldn’t reciprocate which I let them know was obviously not why I was tipping them and I just wanted to support their craft. This illustrates my point that artists want to support each other.
