Welcome! Music/media mini apps are especially nice because they can play in the background and dock in the sidebar on web, so you can listen as you scroll. Three good examples are @acidtest @pinetree and /tortoise. I was just wishing there was a Poolsuite FM mini app.

If you're building a music/media mini app, what could we do better? (besides background player controls)

i know we just got the minimized update & im very grateful for that, but what if we could open TWO miniapps at the same time so i can listen to @acidtest while i play my daily rounds of basedrop…….

or hit play on the future poolsuite miniapp while i read a paragraph post……

changing color of nav and status bar would make mini apps feel more like a first class citizen 

eg opening @pinetree and watching a video feels like opening a web view on x. it works fine but the content doesn’t feel like it’s part of the app/feed

1- playback audio scrub at the bottom of the screen when a mini app that’s playing audio (and perhaps video) is minimized 

2- ability to playback audio from NFTs in the Collectibles tab

Trying to phrase this in a way that isn’t just background player controls haha but OS level metadata like a native music player, I suppose artist: creator and track title: title of media

Farcaster music of the day would be good update.
