Yea, possibly to distract from the stuff Elon is doing and the purge of the FBI that is about to take place. Maybe even other stuff that we don't know about yet.

I just mean there will be a tariff. If trump wants these tax cuts these trade deficits have to support it, and sooooooo much of what we consume comes through Mexico and china, downstream and upstream goods

Hard to say. The man is so unpredictable, often is in agreement with the last person he spoke with, and will potentially cause rioting or other disorder if he really goes through creating massive inflation. His tax plan is mostly the same as it was last time, unless he wants to really pursue the no tax on tips and no tax on overtime stuff. I'm not entirely sure how much those two additions would cost.
