Tried using Claude Code a bit—surprisingly, even on the same model, the code quality feels better than Cursor My takeaway: For these coding agents context is everything. Claude Code indexes the entire project upfront, giving it a deeper understanding. Cursor, on the other hand, sends isolated files or chunks, which limits the model’s awareness of the broader codebase. That gap really shows in multi-file tasks.
