there was more experimentation from DAOs w/ frames last year than w/ mini apps this year (e.g.: @botto, @vocdoni, @nouns prop house, @orangedao app). is this due to DAOs falling off a bit? or due to a frustrating frames experience that discouraged them from mini apps? something else? would love opinions (+ intros!)

Great question- and sharp observation. A few thoughts: 1. DAOs lost momentum. Many DAOs are in a quieter phase post-2022 hype, with lower treasuries, less governance activity, and smaller contributor bases. Less experimentation overall, especially with new UX surfaces.**2. 2) 2) Frames were easier to ship. Frames lowered the barrier: low-code, quick-to-deploy, and lived in Farcaster’s feed. Mini apps, by contrast, require more dev lift, deeper UX thought, and often backend infra. That friction weeds out casual experimentation.
