I feel like repeating

the money raised for Pro is onchain and owned by the protocol, not owned by Merkle

(and since some were paid for with Warps, surely there is or will shortly be an onchain record of USDC transferred from Merkle Treasury to the Farcaster Pro contract)

not in a bad way, I that's just what it is right now. I'm trusting that this ratio will change in the future with moving things that work into the protocol and clients like Coinbase, Zapper, Cura etc

feeling bluntly honest (since I paid 120 $USDC yday), might delete later

the last thing that worked that moved into the protocol was public follows.

after that came channels, longcasts, verifications, location, auth addresses.

the impetus behind auth addresses should have come with permissionless, when flink opencast herocast and 
farquest were dying to get a piece of the onboarding flow. the grip on that only got loosened b/c cbw has millions uf users already

the protocol is 80% permissionless, transparent, and sufficiently decentralized. 19% theater. 1% lies.
