enjoying claude code with agents a lot split and run tasks in parallel with each agent executing the steps defined in the agent prompt don't have to compact the main conversation as often nice abstraction for me as human in the loop, before I had to remember snippets and /commands to paste all the time

How does that work to split off multiple parallel agents? I just started using Claude Code this week, still adapting. Kind of frustrated by the lack of code indexes like in Cursor, and solutions I've tried have been pretty hacky.
