there is a certain age where seniors become, for lack of a better word, difficult. overly picky, inflexible, dogmatic, even bossy. they’ve certainly earned it but still, difficult to deal with.

Do you think this will change as life expectancies increase?

Yeah that plus maybe some cultural shifts. 

I kinda hope so. 

But old people not caring what people think of them is also one of the beauties of life.

I think it depends on whether we develop anti-aging that is sufficiently advanced that the aging cycles change dramatically.

if we are eventually physically/mentally like 50y/o at 80yo then yes, totally.
