This new DJ Arana album is nuts.
Rosalia - Lux level of; departure from their former work AND range within a single album.
This single song has more fluctuations than most albums lol.
Early reviews are super mixed, leaning negative, but I'm loving it.

She’s super back!
Love her a lot. And always enjoy her music when it’s released. But sometimes not much longer than that.
Motomani was less timeless than el mal querer for me. But feeling optimistic about lux!

Rosalia’s doing something cool with her upcoming album release.
Posted two pages of sheet music on her blog a couple days ago.
TikTok already flooded with people playing it, riffing off it, remixing it.
Will totally change the relationship fans have to the song when it comes out.
Also a very beautiful piece of music :)

goated composer who made a career of "gradual process". inverse brainrot type stuff.

Also, an excellent score. All Ry Cooder. All slide guitar.

Watched Paris, Texas.
Unbelievably good. I really loved it.
I'd put off seeing it for a long time because I'd never taken the time to figure out what it was about.
I'd seen a handful of iconic images from the film, but I actually think they're a bit misleading.
Yes, it's a "western" but it's mostly about relation...

I know it can’t always be like this. But so beautiful and warm to watch the show close like this.
Videos from the models talking about how many of them cried tears of joy after the show <3

EDIT: just found this in my drafts! Turns out this video was in fact FAKE lol
New category of media: pretty interesting, but not sure if it’s real or ai. Don’t care enough to figure it out.

I like the new Spotify stuff (lossless, updated volume UI) but noticed when you turn the volume up from 47 to 48 volume it sounds like a ten point jump.
Anyone else experiencing this?

interesting mix of traditional cumbia sounds w tech house-y elements.
some of it i don't really like at all.
but the weirdly syncopated breakdown in the middle is super cool 😎
