in web2 the PMF question is "how disappointed would you be if you could no longer use this product?" in web3 the PMF question is "how likely are you to use the product after a potential airdrop?" who's bold enough to ask their customers this directly?

So true. Web3 PMF often gets clouded by airdrop hunters. The real test is whether users stay once the incentives dry up.
