I don’t know a ton about Ross Ulbricht. Reasonable friends of mine outside of crypto are appalled, noting that he attempted murder. Reasonable friends of mine within crypto are celebrating. I get the divisiveness of the dark money aspect here (the for and against). But is the murder part true?

Allegedly murder for hire, now he gets chance to prove his innocence. Headlines at the time was during a "war" on Bitcoin & dark web so you can imagine the exaggeration by journalist at the time.
