When spam labels were updated this week, 1,400 people went from “not spammy” to “spammy”. What do you think people are doing to trigger the algorithm? Is it just getting more aggressive? Always looking to update my guidance and appreciate any feedback. https://paragraph.xyz/@pichi/the-unwritten-rules-of-warpcast-avoiding-spam-labels

I really appreciate your documentation @pichi . I have investigated all my followers with tag 0. In general terms, most of them abuse frames, AI images, profiles without genuine photos and I share publications with giveaways. I think that the giveaway posts contribute a lot to constantly generating spam on the network. I appreciate everything you do !!

This one really stood out to me and I’m modifying accordingly. We rarely get insight into what the team/algo doesn’t love and this couldn’t be more clear to me. https://warpcast.com/v/0x0e31071c

I totally agree with that observation. It's one thing to do a giveaway occasionally. But overusing it creates interaction that isn't genuine. Once you don't have an incentive, people just abandon the activity there. That is, you have a lot of just farmers who will also spam the posts. Do you think the same?

I don’t know the ratio of “a little bit” but I’m testing! The hard thing about this is what’s the line of a little vs overuse? If it’s too murky, I just avoid it. It’s like casting frames. I cast a few a week. I think that’s okay, but I see a lot people marked as spam that cast mostly frames. I don’t know how to explain the nuances well enough. I’ll keep refining.

I really appreciate your views! My opinion on frames: it is very repetitive content, as a user when someone posts a frame, I rarely interact with that post. And it is because it is boring to always see the same thing, although I do not doubt that the frame itself is useful, when you see the same frame being shared, if it does not have anything special, you simply ignore it. Over time, it becomes a kind of empty content, and most people do not interact with it.

Yes. I have a lot of frames bookmarked and those that upgraded are added to my toolbar and I use them daily. But I rarely cast them. It has to be for a reason. It has to be new or relevant. The meta here changes quickly and things get boring/spammy really fast.
