𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪: "𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘" 𝗚𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧 N° 3️⃣5️⃣0️⃣: @jrf 𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙄𝙎 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙄𝘿𝙀𝘼 𝙊𝙁 𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙄𝙉𝙀𝙎𝙎? My wife, children, family, friends, food, and music, the simple things that make the world better. (Good weather, too.). 𝙏𝙀𝙇𝙇 𝙈𝙀 𝙎𝙊𝙈𝙀𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙏𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙄𝙎 𝙉𝙊𝙏 𝙆𝙉𝙊𝙒𝙉 𝘼𝘽𝙊𝙐𝙏 𝙔𝙊𝙐: I see everything as a system, even when it isn’t one. It’s how I make sense of chaos. 𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙌𝙐𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙏𝙔 𝘿𝙊 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙍𝙀𝘾𝙄𝘼𝙏𝙀 𝙈𝙊𝙎𝙏 𝙄𝙉 𝘼𝙉𝙊𝙏𝙃𝙀𝙍 𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙎𝙊𝙉? Kindness, people who can be honest without being harsh. 𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙄𝙎 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙂𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙎𝙏 𝙑𝙄𝙍𝙏𝙐𝙀? Persistence, I’ll keep pushing until I understand something, even when it stops being comfortable. 𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙄𝙎 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙈𝘼𝙄𝙉 𝘿𝙀𝙁𝙀𝘾𝙏? Impatience. I move fast and sometimes expect others to move at the same speed. 𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝙄𝙎 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙁𝘼𝙑𝙊𝙍𝙄𝙏𝙀 𝙃𝙊𝘽𝘽𝙔? Building products, it’s creative in the same way music used to be for me. The instruments just changed. How wonderful to reach interview number 350 with someone like you, @jrf. There's something very human in your answers, that blend of simplicity and depth. I'm left with the idea of finding happiness in the everyday, and with your unique way of seeing systems where others only see chaos. I also liked what you said about persistence. It's a virtue that often comes with scars, but also with great clarity. Thank you for sharing your essence, for your honesty without harshness, and for reminding us that creating—whether with instruments or products—is a way of being alive.
