I saw this painting in one of the colorful restaurants in Zakopane and couldn't help but take a photo. It was not painted on canvas on tree bark. On the rough surface, a forest was visible, behind it, the soft outlines of mountains, and meadows, flooded with evening light. Everything looked as if it was not painted, but grew out of the wood itself. The color lurked in the cracks, the brushstrokes were uneven, as if the artist was not so much painting as remembering. And now this silence is preserved in every curve. Not just an image - a memory. About touch. About nature, about what is quiet🫶 📸 Share a photo of a meaningful texture - something tactile, quiet, or nostalgic.

This feels like the forest remembered itself and borrowed human hands to speak There's something sacred in textures that don’t just show , they feel.

I agree with you, textures convey much more than we see
