Uh I’ve never tried cooked lettuce! Is it good? It reminds me a bit of italian scarola!

Exactly like scarola but little sweeter. I couldn’t find scarola in Japan so I tried various veggies and the Romain Lettuce is the closest one. If you add cappers and black olives is almost the same as the Neapolitan recipe.

Ahhhh I am in the uk (no scarole here either) and craving scarola since years now… you know I am going to buy 4 romain lettuce now and try the Neapolitan “pizza di scarole”!! 🤩🤭

Ahahah that’s absolutely a great idea! I’m craving for a pizza di scarola and this is also the period of it right? It’s a typical Pasqua dish. Let me know if you found it satisfying. I think is totally acceptable as a replace 😉
