i can see there is a new minimized widget for frames
two questions regarding this:
– how can one still force the full-size version
– is there any chance to have a separate meta tag for the thumbnail at least?

you'll be laughing. it turns out there is no problem at all. frame is being shown minimized only to author of the cast it's attached to and displayed to every other user full-size. it's also minimized if there are more attachments than just a frame. i realized it myself just a few hours ago and feel quite silly now :D

For now it looks like you have to make sure to only have 1 frame per post, otherwise it minimizes. And I include images and quote posts in the definition of "frame"
