taking time off athletics this year has been SO fun and i NEEDED the break but iโm getting to the point where im rlly starting to miss training and competing again iโm looking forward to starting full training in a couple of months, being back on the track and competing again๐๐๐พโโ๏ธ

perks of being on a break: - not being in pain 24/7 (doms) - being able to spend time with friends and family whenever - being able to travel whenever - having more energy - being able to eat whatever - staying up late - not fixated on results and qualifications - being able to watch all of my brothers games -being able to spend more time my grandad - not having to ask my coach if i can do things - lying in on saturday mornings - not thinking about weight/body image - actually having an income (literally all my money was going on training expenses before and now im actually able to save up) BUT i miss the grind i guess ๐๐พ๐ฅฐ

Being an athlete is not easy at all Iโm glad to got the break you needed fr Youโll feel more refreshed and energized when you decide to get back to the track
