Wow haven't been on fc in awhile

They changed a lot of stuff and I have no idea what's going on here or how things work now lmao

The entire interface is difference and the first thing back I had to do was add storage. 

I somehow ran out of storage and was over while not using the app?

Were you pinged from the app to add storage? What lead you to this? Would be useful for us to know so we can fix that UI pattern to lead you to this.

I saw this in my notifications which I honestly couldn't tell if it was a scam or not so I then manually went into settings to check storage and it said I was over -2 and -3

So I added units for $9 there

It is not a scam — it is an ecosystem built tool.

One note about your storage — you can continue to use Farcaster with no issues even if you are at limit. It will just remove your oldest messages / likes on the network. So you did not necessarily had to purchase but the numbers do look accurate as you were near the limit of reactions and casts.
