Tweeting "I told you so" at people who change their mind about what's happening in Gaza does nothing to help the kids who are being starved to death. Welcome people into the tent. Build a bigger coalition and use it to force political change.

It is. And lol to them trying to claim a movement. I would just like to see bigger and bigger tents of softened hearts and minds. This requires me to stand down w my “I told you so”.  “I told you so” is my ego’s favorite thing

Truth and reconciliation is difficult

This theme has been on my mind for a few days. Actually it pops up a lot. Like I’d like to give a lot of space for people to change their minds and realize. That’s kind of the point of activism. On the other hand Hillary Clinton coming out in the final hours is despicable 

It’s also been on my mind watching ICE recruiting people with offers of good pay, benefits and signing bonuses. Are they applying because they are financially desperate? Do they have kids w extraordinary medical needs? Do they know not what they are doing? Or are they sociopaths? Pretty much fvck them but also we’re going to have to face this down the road
