Or an opportunity to use the apps and probably get a decent airdrop when they go to mainnet Feel like people are sleeping on the upside of monad x farcaster tbh

All I want is a good app (that uses crypto) on a secure, always performant (enough) Platform. We already got Millions of Potential tps on 1000s of chains but only a handful of usable platforms with solid ecosystem support (good apps, wallets, tokens); almost no genuine users anywhere. Conclusion: Launch another similar platform, Target the same onchain users 😄

If I pitched a web2 developer a database with 1+ second writes and possible data reorgs for hours afterwards, I’d get laughed out of the room. There is massive benefit to be unlocked with better chain scale

Which App/use case are you referring to? Investors have always said higher throughput, cheaper cost will unlock completely different use cases but we haven’t seen much new stuff despite new scale. (Some games need extreme speed, low latency - but I’d argue not every action needs to be recorded onchain)

Yeah that’s mainly a creativity problem with the space as a whole. Look at Hyperliquid as a great example of a chain built for scale + a very specific use case. It takes a Hyperliquid to truly replace traditional markets. It’ll take similar chains built for scale and purpose to replace other verticals.
