What do folks think of these collabs?

It’s got me excited. I’m considering getting…I don’t have any Blancpains, and it  wasn’t high on my list of watches to get, but I do like the idea of having a watch that can trace its lineage to the oldest brand in the world

And that might transition to getting an OG one in a few years 🤷‍♂️

Now if they did a collab with Glaushutte 🤌

Agree, making the pie bigger is a net benefit.

This ceramic thing is no replacement for a hand crafted traditional piece but it still gets people started and hopefully excited.

I actually really like these collabs

Some say they diminish brand equity. I disagree — I think they’re a great way to make some of these brands more accessible and become something of a gateway drug for the people who buy the collab to want to buy a Blancpain in this instance. And I don’t think that tarnishes Blancpain brand in any way. 

And I think Swatch is the perfect brand for those collabs because of their large family of brands
