having expensive hobbies is so brutal anytime i want a new guitar or watch i have to exercise delayed gratification and setup a separate account to save up and make it worth it (adulting ew) should have picked crochet or thrifting anyways here is a new guitar and watch that I really want (not getting for a while)

This is what I did about 10 years ago and it’s worked well for me. I’m pretty impulsive after I do deep research. I basically have a savings account where I pull all hobbies from. This includes, watches, Pokemon, golf, pins, audiophile gear, etc. it works well for my brain and I never feel guilt bc it’s budgeted for
