Coastal fog starting to roll in this evening, taking a bit of late day solar energy away from the fields.  

We lease a 10 acre footprint within a larger farm where the owners produce hay, run layers, and occasionally a few beef cows.

We are a less then a mile from the harbor.

Great conditions for planting though…

Solar panels aka zucchini leaves starting to size up for long days ahead.

Capturing solar energy > converting it to sugar and plant metabolites > growing edible fruit & vegetables suitable for our nourishment.

Plants can grow larger leaves (zinc) and or thicker leaves (iron) to capture solar energy.
