how do you spend so much time,
cash, & effort on building a new FC
client but simply forget channels?

channels were on the decline even before they leaned in

don't think merkle has been pushing/wants channels to keep going

you probably don’t think about liquidity enough // it is what it is  // build value, not valuation

channels are the best part about farcaster and if I’m the only one that feels that way, I’ll be the only one using farcaster ON farcaster to use them

Oh no get you on that, I just think think certain channels should be public for all. But tbh i feel like a lot of the channels are just for farming interactions.

I will do it because I want to reach an audience that will (hopefully) care about what I’m saying

if I post about parlays outside of a few channels, it will fall on deaf ears

Not a big channel fan, especially not the gatekept ones. Like why tf do i have to jump through hoops to post in the music channel... that should be a public channel 700 members 90k followers tf >_> but there are some good channels out there tho.
