Yep but to your original point of product doesn’t matter— funding itself is only an ephemeral step that crypto locks too heavily on.. there’s a non-zero chance that Roy turns into the fast checkout guy who raised $100m with like twenty dollars in sales then dies.. I think Jason here from moxie previously raised near $100m too. Funding benefits heavily from the aforementioned skill set but that doesn’t get you to rockets in space or chips in brain. Yeah still he pays a lot $300k take home is let’s say $400k x10= $4M year on salaries for engineers who built hide your ai interview software suddenly interviewers don’t care if you use ai and you’ve spent $10M your valuation is $100M and nobody wants to use the product. I’m only saying this stuff cuz idk anyone actually using his products just that he trends for making twitter videos not fully related. Nonetheless I don’t have $15M in funding so back to work
