when i first started using the internet as a kid in 1992, there were less than 4 million people online in the US and the internet wasn’t used much by consumers outside of the US back then crazy to think about

And now there are 4+ billion or so? It's incredible. Back in the 90's, knowing how to access BBS's felt like a superpower, and I'll never forget explaining email to my family.
