I'd love to see someone build and scale onchain payments for cannabis businesses on @base.base.eth. it's unbelievable that we've legalized across the country, but small businesses and consumers are treated horribly by the existing financial system. time to upgrade the system.

Love that you said this…. I was going to say the same. I lived in Cali for 3 years and worked brokering legal cannabis deals between farmers & dispensaries, also with labs who produced oil and wax. They don’t have to worry about paying eachother in crypto, the issue is a secure trustless off-ramp. 🍃💨

I understand this from a brand - user trust standpoint, but from a practical standpoint the implications of a 3rd party building on an open source, decentralized/ing network are entirely different than what a publicly traded centralized exchange does.
