Why are cans of drink not designed to be opened so they can pour over a lip like jugs?

There is always a slight bit of liquid left at the end of pouring that stays in the bottom and can only be removed by agitating the can in such a way that the resulting liquid misses the vessel you're trying to deposit it in.

Where are the daos to make this happen?
