Has anyone tried Claude Code? How does it compare to Cursor?

Both are great. I'm using them in tandem. I don't think I'd use Claude Code alone though. I need an editor to find all the code and paths I want to tell Claude Code to work on, narrow the context, and then I check the results in Cursor to make any tab adjustments since Claude Code doesn't always get the imports, style and other things right.

I love both of them. Iโll admit I havenโt given enough love to codexโฆ You can also run Claude code inside of cursor. Cursor - full on ide. Claude code - command line, only uses sonnet or opus (expensive). Cursor allows model switching and I enjoy Gemini there too, frankly.
