Flew to Seoul to try Rejuran… twice. πŸ’‰ If you haven’t heard of it, Rejuran is an injectable skin treatment made with salmon DNA (PDRN) that β€œhelps repair your skin from the inside out”, boosting hydration, glow, texture, and long-term collagen production. It’s also known as one of the MOST painful skin treatments out there. 1st time β€’ 6cc Rejuran β€’ $800 Pain level: 12/10 😭 I was SOBBING in the clinic - you can kinda tell from my red eyes in the first photo. The doctor had to ask me to stop moving. Some clinics offer sedation for a reason lol. 2nd time β€’ 4cc Rejuran HB β€’ $712 Pain level: 4/10 πŸ™‚ This version had lidocaine mixed in, and I asked the doc to leave the numbing cream on WAY longer. Great injectionist. Results? Each time, my skin stayed glowy, plump, and hydrated for ~4 months. I’m still unsure about the long-term collagen repair, but the short-term glow-up? Very real. Would I do it again? Yes β€” but only with lidocaine πŸ˜‚ FYI the bumps/ marks go away ~2-7 days.

Why did you fly to Korea to do it? Isn't there a similar treatment in the US?

It’s way more expensive in the US. And the doctors/clinics in Korea do these procedures more often since lots of people in Korea do it and many people fly to Korea to do it. Plus they’re prob more experienced working with Asian skin
