Depends what's eating your space up. You can search for marketing emails and delete them. 

I back up my photos on Google instead of iCloud; so I pay for storage.

Yeah it’s shared with Google photos and drive though. IMO 100GB for $2/month to back up your whole digital life is not a bad deal

I've been surfing at 90%+ for over a year now. My working theory is that the approach is asymptotic and I'll never actually reach "full" 😂
