theoretically you could implement a permissionless and censorship resistant AT protocol PDS using blockchains

basically you can build farcaster on AT protocol

but you can't build at protocol on farcaster

farcaster has global state and AT protocol has federated state

if you treat the whole of farcaster a single personal data server then it can technically interface with the rest of AT protocol

but you can't have federated state inside of farcaster
