Over the past few years, Nigeria has consistently ranked as one of the most crypto-native countries in the world. Despite economic headwinds, high inflation, and limited access to traditional finance, Nigerian builders and users have shown the world what it means to leapfrog the old system using Web3 tools.
Now, with the rise of decentralised AI, we’re at another inflexion point.
AI is set to transform everything, but if we’re not careful, it’ll be owned by a handful of corporations and countries. That’s not just unfair, it’s dangerous. It means innovation will be gated, surveillance will be normalised, and voices from the Global South will once again be excluded. 1 reply
