My point is you think the actions you listed somehow disqualify him. For a lot of people they qualify him. Specific popularity, who knows.

I think that's an over estimation... a third voted for Harris, a third voted for Trump and a third didn't vote.  Of the Trump supporters surely a swath of those have been helped by those agencies or have no opinion on them.

Elon is popular... but is he popular enough without Trump?  Unsure.
