Would you believe, my friend, that when we first moved from Australia to the US, we both put on so much weight even though we were mostly eating the exact same products from the same brands as what we ate in Australia? It was wild. One thing I found really confusing was the food labels in the US. In Aus they have 'per serving' and next to it 'per 100g' so you can totally compare any items. In the US they only have 'per serving' which is totally up to the company to determine.

But did anything else about your lifestyle change? I think there is a lot more about the us that promotes obesity beyond food When I was in Iceland I hated the 100g thing!! Too used to the American way. I didn’t consider comparing across products, I only thought ab my serving
