It's hard to pinpoint the exact timing of this. But from my experience, it started in different areas around the country and then spread like a plague. 

We saw this even in the US Marines. Newer Marines had this entitled mentality, which we broke very quickly. You would think boot camp would have burned it out of them 🤣

I did get out in 2011, so I have no idea how bad it is today other than hearing from my buddies that were still in around Covid time. Which was an absolute cluster ...
