as someone who works in property law/management, i don’t understand the idea behind increasing rent without any infrastructural changes/development. like what’s the logic? i don’t want to ask my boss cos i don’t want to feel stupid but i really don’t understand the concept.

Rent and logic shouldn’t even be in the same sentence for starters. My former landlord increased rent by 50% when we asked him why, he said the country is hard 😂
