These were the first batch of ~10 airdrops to Farcaster users (~$110K so far). Early on as projects target potential new high quality users, they're factoring in how likely is this user to convert (not a retro airdrop)

Sometimes projects choose to exclude users if there have been *multiple* prior airdrop sales in the past (not if you just sold 1). Put yourself in their shoes if a user immediately sold multiple prior airdrops, they're prob less likely to convert and you can give to another user that is higher likelihood 

That said, you won't be permabanned forever for selling multiple as this is building some data early on and there will be factors that can help outweigh (post high quality content, use mini apps, do onchain txns)

Team has been slammed but we'll have more infra support on airdrops later. On list is def to show more token info (that's why I manually post info for now since not built in)

As Farcaster grows and becomes more valuable to target, airdrop amounts will naturally be larger too

If you want to be a good airdrop candidate:

- don't immediately sell the airdrop.
- if you don't like it or it's not worth, simply don't claim it and trigger and negative consequence when you sell it.
- instead wait and see the market reaction and if this $7 is worth claiming.
- interact with the protocols, use their product.
- If you like their product the cast about it.
- if you REALLY like it, cast open feedback and help the team that gave you free tokens.

All in all, this is an opt-in or opt-out system

As a users, optimize your behavior to be properly incentivized.

OR

Simply don't claim and no negative consequences will occur.

But please stop bitching to @linda about how unfair the negative consequences are if you're just using these airdrops and providing zero value to the project.

The entitlement around here needs to really come down a few notches, and if we as a community can't correct it, the protocols will stop giving us free shit.

People need to act right and grateful.

Or act neutral and ignore.

Bitching should never be an option in this scenario.

Do you feel like the entitlement comes from a certain group or type of user?

I feel like it’s really just digital social norms that need to be proliferated more since it’s a diverse global audience but it’s tough when incentives are such a wide spectrum with a global audience

Learning the right and wrong ways to navigate this ecosystem are hard to find. 

It took me now a decade to truly understand much of crypto, and I'm probably only at 50% tbh

Yeah i think being vocal about it and pushing people in a better direction helps a lot

I think I hold farcaster to a higher standard.

I see so much opportunity here and it attracts both the good and bad. 

I believe that people like us (who care) can influence how this new ecosystem can prosper.

With subtle messages like this, we can shift people's perspective. 

If you notice, I don't do this on twitter.  But I do speak my mind here and try to get people to see the bigger picture.

More often than not, with small opinions and fud like this, an honest reflection of the situation can change behaviors (I've seen it before on here with my circle)

People are inherently bad/selfish/cringe, they just need a shift in perspective.
