Mike's Hot Honey originated in Paulie Gee's Pizza shop in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn back in 2010 Paulie Gee's happens to be one of my favorite pizza shops in the city and their signature slice called Hellboy is a pepperoni slice drizzled with hot honey Really cool origin story

There was a place near me growing up called Anthony's (super original) but they had a "hot pizza" and they replaced the sauce with hotsauce (and some other things) and it was so delicious.. I'd get it every time I could. I haven't tried the Hot honey craze that seems to be everywhere but now i'm going to.

It's been awesome to see MHH success. I had a pizza making class date on the LES back in 2014 and they put me onto Mikes and were selling bottles straight out of boxes. Now I see it everywhere!
