I used to go surf as the sun was setting when I was younger - and I’d get so angry on my drive there, thinking I only have 45 mins - and while I was surfing I’d be so miserable Recently I realized sometime ago - that I don’t do this anymore. Is it a willingness more to get in the water because I want to even if the circumstances and conditions aren’t great? I don’t know what’s changed but

Maybe something has changed maybe it hasn’t changed but there’s a subtle willingness to show up for things even if it doesn’t work out - maybe that’s the difference it’s not really about whether you show up or not but maybe it’s just not letting the outcome tell you how you have to feel today

Variance between expectations and outcomes approaches 0 with consistency! In other words, just show up and don’t expect a session will be awesome if the report looks good and vice-versa.
