Just wrapped up a ten day Vipassana sitting (I’ve been going every three or four years since grad school) Surprisingly, my heart rate variability improved from 52ms to 126ms. 🧘🧘🧘

I’ve been exercising in lots of different ways over the past year and nothing meaningfully improved my HRV. Ten days of good sleep and hardcore meditation on the other hand…

Nice, I like this. I took my first 2 week vacation in over 5 years and I realized similar effects, tho I can't proof it like you have. I took great care in this time, exercised hard, ate considerably well, but a focused break is what actually tied it together and made all the work happen.
