tbh the most impactful ai edit feature would be one that takes multiple group photos and gets the best smiling face everyone made across all of them and fixes any faces with closed eyes, looking the wrong way etc.

Google researchers did exactly this a number of years ago, but it was pretty uncanny-valley creepy -- quality just wasn't good enough back then. (This was before deep convolutional neural nets were state of the art.)

this seems wrong you're changing the moment itself And heck, you're changing personalities I have friends whose quirk is that they're always distracted in pictures, and we tease them about it. Changing that would mean that that's not my friend anymore...that's an AI changeling
