The most successful crypto app after SoV is USDT on Tron Just sending dollars on a centralized chain with a sketchy founder. Fees are actually high but the network effects are strong, merchants want to get paid that way If we want that business in the Ethereum ecosystem, we need: - On the ground campaigns showing L2s are faster and cheaper than Tron - CEX + wallet integrations to rival Binance + Tron Things like the Shopify Base partnership sound cool, but let’s be honest, stablecoins aren’t solving a real problem for the average person in the West. Credit cards work fine To move the needle, we need to go all in on places like Turkey and Argentina (@devcon ect soon), where Tron dominates, and eat their lunch now that we can offer a better product

the good/bad news is that ppl from Argentina (im from there) will switch in a heartbeat for convenience 2023 : i could not believe how TRON was something when a friend told me. But it just works today and worked also when ETH gas spikes where in order in 2022 (10-15 usd tx minimum) we talking offramp. stable coins, exchanges. But today ETH UX is still way less convenient than TRON + Binance. IE : the simple fact you have to be scared of the fact that someone can send you assets on "another chain" (base vs arb vs opt vs mantle vs etc) is powerfull deterrent. why should they take the risk ? https://x.com/mattlgov/status/1940899493849059634?s=52
